Welcome to The Collaboratory!

We are a national collaboratory that fosters local community support for holistic, community-wide solutions to social problems. Our work is founded on the premise that communities today are challenged to create systemic, locally-based solutions to complex problems by working across organizations and sectors.

Succeeding with this work requires new partnerships, information, and support to occur in an awkward “no man’s land” between legal entities and across traditional boundaries and jurisdictions. The Collaboratory works within this "no man's land" and serves communities and national partners to allow them to succeed at working in this shared space.
